Petromax Cast Iron Dutch Oven ft4.5

The original Petromax Cast-Iron Pot, often called a Dutch Oven, is perfect for cooking and baking outdoors or in the oven at home. Cast-iron pots have existed since the 18th century. Back then, the unique properties of cast iron were already highly valued. With the cast-iron pot, Petromax revives this tradition while equipping the pot with a multitude of refined details.

Petromax cast-iron quality
Thanks to the excellent characteristics of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is stored and distributed efficiently. The pre-treated (seasoned) surface makes an initial seasoning unnecessary, and the sturdy cast-iron pot can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used over an open fire or with charcoal and briquettes. Thanks to the raised lid edge, embers and charcoal can be placed on top of the Cast-Iron Pot. The pot is thus heated from all sides and is therefore also suitable for tasks such as baking bread.

Refined details for greater culinary enjoyment
The pot is equipped with sophisticated elements that make handling easier for you and ensure a wonderful culinary experience. A sturdy handle allows the pot to be lifted safely, three feet make the cast-iron pot very stable, and a thermometer hole allows you to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. If you want to lift the hot lid, it's easy with the Petromax Lid Lifter. The fact that the lid can also be turned over and used as a frying pan is another original aspect. In addition to all these refined details, the pot follows the classic Petromax design: the lid is adorned with the elegant dragon logo, which has always signified superior quality and high-end products. From soups to meat dishes, stews, soufflés, and even cakes, everything can be prepared beautifully in the cast-iron pot.

Available in different sizes and can be supplemented with practical accessories
The Petromax pot is available in several sizes so that you can choose the one that suits the recipe or the number of people. The medium ft4.5 model has a capacity of approx. 3.5 liters. This allows for dishes to be prepared for up to 2-5 people. For the Petromax pot, other accessories besides the Lid Lifter are available, such as the Transport and Storage Bag, the Care Paste, and also cleaning utensils for cast iron. Furthermore, we offer a Trivet and Cast-Iron Grates (from size ft4.5 onwards), which primarily allow for frying and simmering without burning.
