Firewood & Logs
Find our kiln-dried firewood in steres of 25, 33, or 50 cm logs, standard or split, as well as densified wood logs, Fogon briquettes, and pallets of wood pellets (PELL UP, Woodstock, Thermobois, Eco Bois Énergie). Everything you need to fuel your wood stove, insert, fireplace, or pellet stove all winter long.
Choosing the right firewood
- Truly dry wood: aim for a moisture content of less than 20%. Damp wood heats poorly, blackens the glass, and clogs the flue.
- The right length: 25 cm for small fireboxes, 33 cm for most stoves, 50 cm for large inserts and fireplaces. Check your appliance's manual.
- Split logs: with a smaller cross-section, they ignite faster and are well-suited for modern stoves.
- Pellets: these are used exclusively in a pellet stove or boiler and must be stored in a dry place.
A stere corresponds to 1 m³ of one-meter-long logs; once cut down, they occupy less space (approximately 0.7 m³ for 33 cm logs, an approximate value).
