'Paris' Everbearing Raspberry - Rubus Idaeus / 3 L Pot
Fruit production during the summer, then a second time until the first frosts. Sweet, fragrant raspberries that store very well. Deciduous green foliage with oval, serrated leaves. This vigorous shrub shows excellent resistance to cold. Raspberry plant suitable for pot cultivation or in the ground, climbing habit that requires trellising up to 1.5 m.
Nicknamed the Raspberry of Mount Ida, the raspberry bush (Rubus idaeus) belongs to the Rosaceae family. The ‘Paris’ raspberry is a primocane variety. It produces fruit at two times of the year: during the summer, and then from September to October before the first frosts and the onset of autumn. Its summer flowering of small white flowers is melliferous, attracting pollinators and bees.
This fruit plant offers abundant harvests. Fruit production reaches a constant level three years after planting. Its red, cone-shaped fruits are large in size and store very well. Their flesh is firm and their taste is pleasantly fragrant. The ‘Paris’ variety raspberries can be enjoyed raw as soon as they are picked or processed. They are very tasty in jams, coulis, and pastries.
A hardy and vigorous shrub, this primocane raspberry plant thrives perfectly in open ground and in pots when exposed to the sun. In open ground, it can be trellised on wires or cables; its height at maturity is 1.50 m. The potted raspberry plant is ideal for creating a fruit corner in small spaces. Its excellent hardiness allows it to adapt to all regions of France.
