Anchor for Petromax fire lamp
With the Petromax Fire Anchor, you can easily turn any campfire into a practical and versatile cooking area with a grilling function. The coated steel Fire Anchor can be anchored quickly and easily into the ground next to your fire pit. Whether you want to use it over an open fire, the Atago, or the Griddle and Fire Bowl, it will reliably help you cook food in a cast-iron Dutch oven (up to and including size ft6), heat water in a kettle, or grill vegetable skewers, sausages, and other dishes.
Always one step ahead
Your Fire Anchor features a center pole that is fixed into the ground and three arms, which you can place on the Fire Anchor individually, varying their height and orientation. Two of the arms have three notches at their ends, from which you can hang your cookware. The third arm is equipped with a grill grate as well as an additional notch for your barbecue gloves or barbecue and coal tongs. Sausages, vegetable skewers, and other foods will find their place on the large grill grate, which is provided with a rim.
Good stability on firm ground
Before using the Fire Anchor, however, you must pay attention to the nature of the ground where the fire pit is located. Sandy soil, for example, is less suitable because the fire anchor will not be held firmly in place. Ensure that you balance the weight adequately when cooking with heavy cast-iron pots to maintain the stability of your Fire Anchor.
