Charcoal barbecues
Nothing beats the taste of grilled food cooked over embers. Our selection of charcoal barbecues brings together Irissarry, Mendy, and Montory grills in steel or stainless steel, with or without a cart, the Barbecue Français XL60 with a wood storage cabinet, a spit-roast barbecue on a cart, Solo Stove fire pits (Bonfire, Yukon) and the Original Fire Pit, as well as Petromax cast iron pots and open-fire cooking equipment.
Our tips for choosing the right grill and grilling well
- Grill size: choose it according to the usual number of guests, while leaving space for an indirect cooking zone.
- Steel or stainless steel: stainless steel is more corrosion-resistant and easier to maintain; steel requires a cover and dry storage.
- The right fuel: quality charcoal or well-dried hardwood. Wait for white embers before placing food on the grill.
- Two heat zones: group the embers on one side for searing, leave the other side cooler to finish cooking.
A charcoal barbecue must be used exclusively outdoors, on stable ground, and away from any flammable materials.
