The original Petromax cast-iron Dutch Oven is perfect for cooking and baking outdoors or in the oven at home. Cast-iron pots have been around since the 18th century. Back then, people already appreciated the unique properties of cast iron. With this cast-iron pot, Petromax renews this tradition while equipping the pot with a multitude of refined details.

Petromax cast-iron quality
Thanks to the excellent characteristics of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is retained and distributed efficiently. The pre-seasoned surface makes initial seasoning unnecessary, and the sturdy cast-iron pot can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used over an open fire or with charcoal and briquettes. Thanks to the raised edge of the lid, embers and charcoal can be placed on the pot. This heats the pot from all sides, making it possible to bake bread, for example.

Refined details for greater culinary pleasure
The pot is equipped with sophisticated elements that make handling easier and ensure a wonderful culinary experience. A sturdy handle allows the pot to be lifted safely, three feet make the cast-iron pot very stable, and a thermometer hole allows you to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. If you wish to lift the hot lid, it couldn't be simpler with the Petromax Lid Lifter. The fact that the lid can also be turned over and used as a frying pan is another original feature. In addition to all these refined details, the pot respects the classic Petromax design: the lid is adorned with the elegant dragon logo, which has always signified superior quality and high-end products. From soups to meat dishes, stews, soufflés, and even cakes, everything can be prepared wonderfully in the cast-iron pot.

The Petromax Dutch Oven is available in several sizes, so you can choose the one that suits your recipe or the number of people. The ft3 model has a capacity of approx. 1.6 litres. This allows you to prepare dishes for up to 1-3 people. In addition to the Lid Lifter, other accessories are available for the Petromax Dutch Oven, such as the Carrying and Storage Bag, Care Paste, and cleaning utensils for cast iron. Furthermore, we offer a Trivet and Cast-Iron Grates (from ft6 onwards), which above all allow for frying and simmering without burning.
